Delays in emergency angioplasty linked to higher death risk
Heart disease is the #1 killer of women in this country, and the doctors at the University of Michigan Health System are committed to assisting women identify and reduce their individual risk factors for this disease. The University of Michigan Health System has been designated a "Women's Center of Excellence" by the Department of Health and Human Services. Their new Women’s Heart program is a service that complements other existing gender-specific health care services within the University.
